Tiny Art 31

Kbtinyart_bannerLook. Something new! I have started a collection of pieces called TINY ART. These pieces are all small. They are created in mixed media on all types of substrates. They are for sale: $100 for the original OR $30 for laser reproduction on smooth coated paper.

Kbtinyart_31_2008    This is Tiny Art 31. (click to enlarge). This piece was inspired by my real life body and the real life weight that bothers me... A lot. I know taking the weight off is a slow process - and I think that it's just another part of the missing ease and patience I need to find for this old soul. I drew an accurate version of my body - and I disliked it - I fought with some creative block and pushed through it. When it was done - I really, really loved it. It was beautiful. Maybe so am I... This painting is on vellum with a magazine page tucked neatly behind it... transparent and complicated - like body issues. It's beautiful.

ooh girl, I am feelin' this one!! You rock!

:)

Wow - does this one ever speak to me, and it would speak to many of my friends. Great piece.

This is fantastic. Just love the color on vellum and the magazine page behind. Wow, you are one talented lady.

I read your comment about writing Pilot a letter and I just wanted to tell you to do it and don't ever stop. I write my son a letter every year right before his birthday and I recap the year and tell him just what it is about him that makes him so very special. Then I mail it to our house and collect it to put in the stack I have saved for his 18th birthday. I have been doing this for 7 years and I don't see it stopping until my I am gone or he insists I must stop because he is 30 years old and OVER it. : )

Best wishes to you at your conference.

wow i luv your colours and the way you use vellum..
Have a great day!
