Thursday. Darn. I'm off in about 10 minutes for another glucose test - wish me luck! Just means I will be sitting on my rump - very still - reading germy old waiting room magazines for a bunch of hours this morning while my blood gets sampled... INSTEAD of tapping into creative juices. Bummer. But, what can you do? This painting is another one from the six series. I like it. It's a little trippy - but, I think it does the job.
I went out for a powerwalk with Dana yesterday and our Trifecta Flat Facers. One. Two Three of my favourite smash-face dogs. The Boxer is none other than the greatest dog to ever live: Crash. The Boston Terrier is the very un-Boston Terrier grand master Duke. The wee puggie on the right is our house guest for the week and young super model Gus. Oooh, did these guys have fun rippin' around the park terrorizing the zillions of lab crosses. Good times. Good dogs. Good way to start the day, thanks Dana.
For the rest of the day - these two cuddled in every position combination known to man and we got a lot of work done. INCLUDING that chicken pot pie I was hoping for. Yes! We had visitors. We had tea. We had a pretty nice day.
The very cool black & white pattern on that photos is from Luxe Papery. Ooooooh weee - they have some nice stuff over there. Check it out.
Surfing around yesterday I stumbled onto this store. I want to visit this place it just looks so nice.
I've been hearing some stuff about this magazine. GOOD Magazine. So, I hobbled over there (online of course) to check it out. Looks cool. Lots of information and stuff to sink my teeth into.
Today: The morning is a wash - I'll literally be sitting very still after chugalugging my glucose test orange pop until about noon. THEN I will eat my face off because I have been fasting since 7pm last night. Then I will race home and try to get some work accomplished. Then I will race to the park. Then I will race around fixing dinner. Or maybe I will just come home and start a painting or have a nap. I tell ya - the world is my oyster today, man. Look for the bulletproof positive attitude poster by tomorrow.
Let's GO.
