We had an impromptu photoshoot this morning - Pilot and I. I was getting my gear ready for a photoshoot this afternoon and she was just sitting there (looking a little stunned) in her cute toque. Dan's back to work and we (meaning me, her and Crash) are trying to build ourselves a little bit of a routine. I like routine. I really, really do.
Looks like Wolf Blitzer is ahead in the polls. I was thinking we could call him Blitz for short. Or B-Dog. B-shizzle. Originally, I wanted him to be called Cargo or Economy Class or DELAYED... something with the aviation theme we have going on here, but Dan kiboshed that toute de suite. Boo. Whatever his name - he's quite lovely. He's of the same mold as Walter - he's just had some nose-work done and his coat smoothed a bit so painting him will be easier. **Walter was loaned last year to another artist as they couldn't get another concrete wolf poured and set in time for the exhibit because of the rain. So - I guess loaned was the wrong word... Walter was generously donated for the greater good.
Today: I'm as-I-type looking for socks so I can get out for a walk with the dog and the UBER-STROLLER. My abdominals sent me a text message this morning - something to the effect of 'EFF-YOU-AND-YOUR-POWER-WALKING'. SO. I will tone down the Laura Croft intensity that I push through the 50 odd centimetres of snow (that's 19.7 inches for those South of the border). I have an outdoor photoshoot this afternoon with an engagement couple and the light looks delicious. I need coffee. I could use a massage and a pedicure, too - but gimme-gimme never gets. ;)
Okay. Let's go, go, GO!
