Alright. Big Day No.1 here. Dan's at work. Life goes on. So far - so good. We are alive and happy. I even managed a SHOWER! Woot. Part of my New Year's resolution is to establish a flexible routine. Flexible... I'm pretty flexible as it is - BUT - I'm being seriously challenged now. I like to do things in the same order and same way - but, now I recognize that part of Pilot's purpose here is to teach me all kinds of new things... in all kinds of new orders that I'm not used to. Silly me. And I thought night was for SLEEPING. ;) Bring it on, sweet Pilot. I'm here with you. Bring it on.
I woke up with this in my head. Love this tune. LOVE everything it reminds me to do. Listen. (I couldn't find the legit video on YouTube - so this Japanese trippy-trip-video will have to do. Woooops!)
Big thanks to Randy for the Tim Horton's coffee this morning. Sweet. AND the gift from he and his thoughtful, thoughtful wife Sandra. WOW. I will snap a photo and blog about the gift that made my DAY.
I am anxiously waiting for this to come in the mail very soon. Yes. I'm a walker - and I plan on covering some serious miles with our UBER-STROLLER and our new person. And Crash. My goal: 2000km by this time next year (Dan thought my original goal of 10,000km was psychotic so I have reassessed). ;) Don't be surprised if you see me at the Olympics this summer. Now that I'm NOT pregnant - I'm SO frickin' fast I'm just a blur. It's awesome.
Day-to-day jabber: I want to create something everyday - it's part of my hardwiring. I'm used to creating a LOT of things everyday so it's a hard, hard thing to work backwards and on someone else's schedule. It's like continuously biting your tongue. But, I think I can do it. Everyday, it's my goal to blog, shower, LAUGH and create a little... To NAP, to slow and to be fully in these precious little moments that are going too fast already. Oh, and somewhere in there to do laundry.
Today: It's a big day because Pilot and I are going to walk 30 minutes in the COLD and snow to the mall to mail a zillion packages, get groceries, pick up photo prints, and walk 30 minutes back. Oh, yes. I know. Laugh if you must - at my lofty goal for day 1. But, if you don't dream big - you don't go far.
I know I said I was slowing down... but, I'm still all systems GO. GO!
