Cheers. No time for blogging yesterday - we were busy driving to and fro all over the city. We averaged one million errands a minute. And I am not joking. And we are still not done. Pilot and I picked up our new wheels in the morning and for the rest of the day we were very practical, very fuel-efficient drivers zipping along and getting used to the nice smooth ride of our Honda CR-V. It's no Jeep - I can tell you that. I didn't feel shaken or wind-blasted even once. BUT. It's no Jeep - I can tell you that. I didn't spill my coffee from the bumpiness OR HAVE TO PUT PILOT IN THROUGH THE BACK WINDOW. So, I kind of felt like a grown up/old person/practical one... Another thing I noted that was good: I put my groceries in the place where groceries are supposed to go. In the Ram we would just put them somewhere on the backseat and nine times out of ten when you opened the back door apples would bounce out and roll down the street. THAT didn't happen yesterday.
BIG THANKS to Adam & Jessica. They gave us Adam's football game tickets and Jessica stayed with Pilot so we could go on a date. AND ANY DATE WITH MINI-DONUTS IS A GOOD DATE as far as I'm concerned. Thank you guys so much!
Today: Pilot has a cough and cold. She's been under the weather all week and it's emerged as a yucky cough. SO. We might tackle some errands and we might just hang tight and lay low. I don't know yet. I'll let that be her call this time. It's a beautiful day. We have laundry and blah-blah-blah-the-usual to get done today and that is probably getting AS BORING TO TYPE as it is to read. Sorry. I'm actively searching for new things to do in the mornings to keep her awake and engaged... that makes me the cruise-director over here.
Coffee is on. The sun is out and the birds are a'chirping! Go!
