I love this shot... Pilot likes to sit by the window and watch the world go by... and I like that about her. I liked her expression and the little shiner on her cheek from a morning tumble. I also like that my foot is in the reflection and that's my little I-WAS-THERE signature for today. Leaving my mark. Being a part of the history here.
The passport office yesterday was terrific. ALMOST NO LINES. That was great because I pulled a BIG-STUPID and took all the things I needed EXCEPT for the new photo OF MYSELF which I conveniently left on the kitchen table. ACK! So, Pilot and I had to make a pitstop to retake my photo so we could get it all done in one trip. The passport office dude's advice: NEVER GO ON A FRIDAY. He said it's always zoo.
You know you're pregnant when you get misty-eyed over an ampersand. Yesterday, I did. I can't help it. Someone should punch me. It's my big font-heart and the way it suddently hit me that the ampersand is really NOTHING without two things to connect... And gosh-darn-it-all - those pretty characters are so beautiful - it's a shame. Really it is.
We got every single thing we needed to get done yesterday. AND MORE. WAY MORE. It was awesome. And to top it off - I finished my work, too... which was AWESOME-R. And Nicole brought me a nice gluten-free spinach salad lunch. It was the best Thursday I've had in at least a week. ;)
Today: FRIDAY - WHOOO HOOOOO!! I've been so good about exercise this week - I'm back to my 3 miles per day and loving it so a hard walk is on the agenda (I love my new Phil&Ted stroller). We've got a date at Chapters this morning and then we are gonna play the day away waiting for Dan to take us out for sushi tonight to celebrate a whole bunch of great things. Like it being the end of the week. And August. And summer. And the start of the Long Weekend. And sushi's freedom from gluten. And life being very good and really nice.
Hello wonderfulness. Let's get started! Go!
