There! The very, very elusive eyes-wide-open shot of Penn. This doesn't happen very often and usually when it does she's in my arms and taking a photo is HARD and turns out a little bit awkward. Like this one. She is THE BEST BABY EVER.
This afternoon's plans have been kiboshed due to me having some surprise surgery and stitches on my toe WITHOUT freezing. WHICH REALLY, REALLY HURTS. It hurts enough to make you barf and then drink a whole bottle of tequila in one shot. WHICH I WON'T DO. But, I will daydream about it all day. Or at least until I can get some really intense pain killers. Or a bottle of tequila.
If the Universe was looking for a way to get me to sit on my ass and DO NOTHING... well, mission accomplished. I'm going to sit very, very still mentally directing my healing powers at this MOTHER EFFIN' BLEEDING THROBBING FOOT so I can still go pick up my people at the airport tonight.
