There she is! PILOT-CAM: The good news is that Pilot is having the time of her life - hanging with family and chillin' in Florida. The other good news is that it's not really bikini weather out there so may everyone have chilly ta-ta's. Ha. And the OTHER good news is that Pilot has all her limbs intact and has not been chomped up by the neighbourhood crocodile.
Big thank you to Dan for TAKING + sending me these photos. It was the 'TAKING + sending' part that reminded me he loves me... That's something I really appreciate. I do. I do. [I also love that she loves the beach. Good girl.] I also really, really love that they are coming home four days or so.
Here at home: Penn is proving to be a certified angel. I thought she might come into her own with Pilot out of the way... and if she has - then HER OWN is a sleeping, happy, contented state that is as dreamy as heck. THIS would not be a good baby for anyone hoping to be discouraged from having more children.
Today: It's Saturday so Penn and I are going to hit the shopping circuit for the quick-stop stuff that seems a little high-maintenance with two small people. We need to get paint because I have this idea that I might start painting the foyer, stairs and second floor landing tonight. We need groceries because tomorrow is GIRL'S-BRUNCH-IN at Nicole's. I need wall anchors to install some shelving. And it would be a pure and utter delight to get fresh flowers, a newspaper and a few dozen thank-you cards to fill up our afternoon naptime.
