Peace on a postcard.

Thanks for all the well-wishes. Turns out I'm allergic to the H1N1 vaccine. Sweet. That kind of throws a wrench into my painting plans. I loaded up on oodles of medicine today with hopes of, at the very least, being a little productive. I can't paint when I'm hopped up on drugs. But, I can happily sit and design good things. I got my holiday cards ready to roll. They are so pretty! These cards are all-year-long 14pt cover matte postcards printed with soy inks on recycled papers. Coooooooool. This is a sneak peek. OH AND DON'T TELL DAN: I printed extra so that you can have some, too. They will be available in a week or so. Check back.

So sorry to hear the vaccine & you don't mesh... what are the chances of that? Something you don't hear about in the news. Your cards are beautiful! WOw, being a responsible mom & caregiver trying to get the flu shot that is supposed to keep you all healthy and safe! SO, sorry to hear that it affected you this way! Alberta is only immunizing people who are pregnant, under 6 or who have severely compromised immune systems!! Hoping and praying that you recover quickly! I'm so sorry you had a bad reaction to the vaccine, but I'm super glad you were still at the doctor's and the nurses were able to intervene (and your neighbor was there to wrangle your tribe!) I hope you feel better soon, and it's just your style to be productive while you are down and out. Triple arm pump to YOU rockin' hard core artist lady.
