Yesterday went smooth and superbly. Refrigerator: check. Antique trunks: check. Engineers drawings and hardcore beam-amijiggies: check. They are gearing up for a lot progress this week over at house90. Hurray! Aside from flooring, lights, cabinetry and all that jazz I am also on the lookout for a resin moose like the one in the image above. I had one JUST LIKE IT last fall only left it balancing in a completely ridiculous spot and it fell to a very sad smashy death. I really want another one (not for $200).
Today: is a stay-inside and make cookies kind of day. I am having a hard time with this whole renovation because there's nothing I can do to speed up the process and I feel kind of useless. My girl tribe and I are off in search of a cool birthday present for my little brother and their favourite uncle. He's GOING TO TURN THIRTY on the weekend. Wow. A whoopee cushion may be slightly in appropriate, but I don't think he's really gonna dig the WonderPets sand pail that Pilot wanted to get him either. Hmmm. Our search continues! Our coffee maker is broken again so an early morning walk to the coffee shop is also in order.
