Today is about details. Finishing things. Picking things up. Dropping dogs off. Making sure that everything runs smoothly. First and foremost - the girls and I are heading to the grocery store to locate BROWN GREEN-EYED KITTY. Yes, that's his name. He was with us when we went grocery shopping yesterday - but somewhere between diapers and organic grapes the little stuffed bastard jumped ship. Which heart-breaking for Pilot. No worries. I will find him. I'm handy that way.
I will also be:
- picking up our new dining room table (actually - it will be Dan)
- getting my first pedicure since February 2010
- celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary (it's actually tomorrow)
- tracking down some Smoking Loon wines for our AMAZING dog sitters
- delivering a goalie mask I just finished painting
- trying to get my email to appear on my iPhone
- trying to find my passport
- packing
- not thinking about how the girls will react to being hauled to the airport at 3am... wish us luck.
Today: I am going with the flow and LOVING the amazing weather. October is an amazing month SO PERFECT to host Thanksgiving. October is an amazing month for an anniversary. October oozes gratitude. I'm doing my very best to look forward to a short break. I am making a mental note of all the things I am thankful for - for there is so much. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, Canucks.
