I get plenty of requests for my handwriting as a font. And ALTHOUGH I have made some attempts to have it work that way - they are FAR from the original. Because nothing I do is perfect. Or predictable like digital font files have to be. And if there's one thing that gives me the heebie jeebies - it's seeing a handwritten-like letter repeated exactly. It kills it. That's the part that makes a handwritten font feel... like a font instead of a spontaneous collection of letters strung magically together like patio lanterns.
You can download these fonts and give it a whirl if that interests you at all.Personally, I don't use these fonts unless I'm in the mood for a lot of individual kerning to make it feel just right. So be warned they are not as amazing as I would like them to be. And they are True Type. But, they are also kind of neat.
Today: I have plenty of meetings. I will be working my mind, my body, my paintbrushes and my mama-bear. Things are coming together. Touch wood.
GO!
