Sales are fun, right? Wow. Thank you for everyone who has popped into my ARTSHOP to pick up goodies. Today at noon marks the halfway point and tomorrow at noon marks the end of the EVENT + SALE. So get while the getting is GOOD because things are selling out fast. My new ARTSHOP makes it easier for me to load up art.. but it still has some limitations. I spent some time last night moving things around so that all of the pieces get a fair shake at finding a new home. If you view things by category you might catch something you missed before.
I am always terrified/anxious/surprised at sales. I get so nervous that I'll probably have a stroke soon. It's crazy when the things I thought would be snatched up are still there and the things I never thought would go - are the first to be gone. I thought this would be the first to go! And this! And this! And this! (Those are my favourites!) But, that's the magic of art, baby. It's crazy + random. I love it because there's no way to predict. It's stars times lives times moments. So cool.
Keep shopping. I am working on a post about what art means to me. And about how I decide what to sell and when. And what I've learned. And why I think GARAGE SALES and EVENT + SALES are fun and beneficial to everyone. And why making space in my studio - opens up all kinds of new avenues of inspiration.
So wow. And THANK YOU. Go check out the things that have been moved around And see if you can find what has been added. The last 24 hours of the sale promises a few surprises.
GO!
