The bizarre spring temperatures this weekend had me packing up our toques + scarves for lighter fare. (OH, DON'T WORRY. I'm pretty sure that by doing that I have tempted the Gods and we will have a humdinger of a snow storm in April. That's okay with me!) Dan agreed with the toddlers that it was officially summer so they were ripping around in barefeet and short sleeves. I, on the other hand, am the one who has to look after them all (YES, even YOU Dan!) when they are sick and miserable so I was racing after everyone like a giant BUZZ KILL with sweaters + socks. It's MARCH for heaven's sake! We are usually still under a foot of snow.
The sunshine was incredibly lovely though.
My sweet new hat shows a bit of script work that I did for a fundraiser. Check it out and snatch up one of these adorable hats (or the shirts, too!) - proceeds go to a good cause. $18 including shipping. Good prices and great hat. (*MOM if you are reading this - don't order one because I might have ordered you one already.)

Hope is a magical colour.
Today: I am FINALLY done the elk. He's signed! He's going to a new home in a fancy new house out way out West where the cowboys roam. As soon as the light is right - I'll photograph him so I can pack him up and get him onto the new leg of his journey. His fierceness has convinced me to get out another canvas. Who knows what will come of that. It's Monday. I'm hopeful.
GO!
