I love this Ansel Adams quote (an excerpt from this letter: I know what love is, 1937). It fills me like the comfort of warm coffee. Love. I'm in a painting mood these days and I'm not going to talk myself out of it.

Today: I'm starting my week with these words in my heart and a massive amount of time selfishly + unapologetically carved out to paint and paint and paint. I don't feel like doing anything else and I'm going listen to (and wholeheartedly HEAR) that feeling.
