HONK! I am happily back on my polar bear rampage. Oh, maybe RAMPAGE is not the right word... Celebration. Frenzy. Buzz. RUCKUS. SPREE. (Thank you thesaurus.com!) You know where I'm going with that. I am back in my studio for two days and SO INSPIRED. I'm acting on tiny ideas that make no sense, but I just have a gut feeling they will work. I am planning for a polar bear art show for 2013 and in preparing for something like that - I got to thinking about just HOW one little person like me could help these truly magnificent creatures. And by myself, I probably can't - I get that. So I picked up the phone and started making calls to big important people. ACTUALLY, first I put on my favourite polar bear sweater, then I drank two pots of coffee to give myself a bit of a confidence buzz and THEN I picked up the phone.
And it started to working! It was like I had angels in my corner because it was almost too easy. Oh, don't get me wrong - I know I have a long road to haul with this show... but I am up for the challenge. And I think I have a great plan. I will be enlisting help soon - are you up for helping the magical white bears of the North?
Today: I am putting on my lucky polar bear sweater and getting back on the phone. I am going to chase the good vibes of a new year and a fresh enthusiasm. I'm going to get a pedicure. And then I am going to start packing our suitcases - in a couple of days we are taking our traveling circus to see family in Florida. Watch out gators!
