I feel fortunate to live in an age where we can connect so freely. Social Media is a powerful thing. It can be consuming. And exhilerating. And crushing. And awesome. I am so humbled by the kind comments yesterday. I didn't set out to solicit that kind of response... but maybe without knowing it - I needed to know there was someone out there. Thank you.
In the works: I'm building on an art show that is a little more complicated than any show I have ever planned before. Because it comes with an intricate network of politics and committees and history and logistics... and so many things that make it a pretty incredible beast to navigate. A super-challenge, if you will. It's not glamorous. It's not trendy or on par with what the rest of the world thinks is very cool. It's likely just going to cost me a lot of money. And time.
But the heart wants what the heart wants. I know this much. And I think it will be worth it.
Today: I need to paint. And drink coffee while doing it.
